My name is Pamy Muleka, the underserved that has been granted “class” by grace.
A humble girl from the DRC living in Nairobi Kenya since the year 2000.
I graduated from high school in 2008 with a befitting grade to lead me straight to the university, but unfortunately, chances never smiled at my dreams due to financial setbacks.
For a long time, I had longed and desired to pursue my education and be more knowledgeable in the things I had a passion for and my candle caught fire again the moment I had an encounter with the Ode Irri Foundation in the year 2018 in Nairobi, Kenya.
Thanks to Ode Irri Foundation, I got a scholarship to further my education at the university level in 2019.
I am currently pursuing my degree in Communication, Majoring in Public Relations. A fourth-year student at the daystar university valley Road Campus where I joined with hopes and a lot of imagination and expectations.
Today, my knowledge bag seems heavier, my skills more sharpened and ready to embrace the factual world, equipped with more understanding, wisdom and great opportunities to better my life and that of my family.
Ode Irri Foundation has given me another chance to smile, another chance to live, another chance to believe that God is never late indeed.
Returning back to school after a 10-year break seemed harder than I could have imagined, but one thing that kept my faith burning is: “I serve a God who completes whatever He begins, a Alpha and Omega, therefore I shall finish what I started.”
Long live Ode Irri Foundation and thank you for putting a smile on my face.
May the name of the Lord be praised!
